Metal Transportation Systems specializes in flatbed freight, with long, short and middle distance hauls that originate out of the Central New York area (for Drivers based out of our Oswego, NY terminal), and out of the Chattanooga/Atlanta area (for Drivers Based out of our Ringgold , Ga terminal).

Pay Rate Information:
 Single and Team Drivers are paid according to the per-mile rates shown below. (Team Drivers are paid for half the miles traveled with their partners.)

Single and Team Drivers can also raise their pay levels by earning Productivity Bonuses. These bonus rates, (as shown in the table below), are based on miles which are averaged over the previous 2 months. These bonuses are divided equally amoung the two members of the driving team.
Productivity Bonus Rates
Avg. Miles Bonus
10,000 - 10,499 .02 per mile
10,500 - 10,999 .025 per mile
11,000 - above .03 per mile


All Drivers with 6 months or more of seniority at M.T.S. are paid our quarterly Seniority Bonus for maintaing a monthly average of just 10,000 miles. The bonus rates increase as our Drivers' tenure increases. Team Drivers are paid for half the miles driven with their partners.

Customer Account Representative:
Coordinate customer's freight with available trucks in your geographic region. Related experience & college degree preferred. Good people skills a must.


Driver Manager:
Dispatch & assist your own group of Professional Drivers as they haul freight throughout the country. Related experience & college degree preferred. Good people skills a must.
